Become a barista and learn the art of espresso preparation in our comprehensive barista seminar! The Coffee Store GmbH invites you to discover the techniques and secrets of professional coffee art. This 3.5-hour seminar focuses on practical exercises using professional espresso machines.

At the beginning of the seminar, you will receive an introduction to the history and culture of espresso, as well as an overview of the different espresso machines and coffee varieties. Then it's straight into practice: you will learn how to set the espresso grinder correctly, how to measure out the right amount and how to tamp the coffee perfectly. Under the guidance of our experienced barista trainers, you will prepare your own espresso and adjust the parameters to achieve the best possible result.

The next part of the seminar is all about milk. You will learn how to make the finest creamy microfoam, which forms the basis for a perfect cappuccino. After a demonstration, you will practise frothing milk and preparing cappuccinos yourself.

The seminar culminates in an introduction to latte art. You will learn the basics of the art of pouring patterns into espresso with milk and can try out different techniques and patterns such as hearts, rosettas and tulips for yourself.

An open question and answer session and individual advice round off the seminar, so you can clarify any questions you may have and receive personal tips. At the end of the seminar, you will have the opportunity to purchase coffees and accessories so that you can apply your new skills at home.
